What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an Eastern medicine system that uses a full herbal pharmacy, incorporating individual diet & lifestyle practices unique to the patient, and using an array of therapies such as yoga, pranayama (breath work), sound therapy, color therapy, aromatherapy, meditation, exercise, body work, personal affirmation, journaling and deep counseling to create the optimal environment within the patient’s body & mind resulting in healing from disease, balancing and bringing health in the body and mind.

Dr. Stephanie Matulle, Ayurvedic Doctor, offers a family practice of general medicine treating clinical disease & imbalance, mental & emotional imbalance, and offering a full spectrum of preventative medicine. Dr. Matulle welcomes all ages.

Ayurveda Consultation Process
The initial consultation is an hour and a half Ayurvedic evaluation including tongue and pulse diagnostics, an assessment of symptoms and disease, blood pressure, physical functioning & routines evaluation and a full health history.
The report of findings is a one-hour presentation revealing your original constitution (Prakruti), your unique make-up at conception, define your current imbalances (Vikruti), and outline treatment & prescription recommendations. This appointment is typically scheduled 7-14 days after the initial consultation and is included in the price for the initial consultation.
Follow up visits are one-hour and are recommended for continued well being and success. These appointments provide evaluations of progress, additional treatments & prescriptions, and/or changes to the current treatment program

At our onsite herbal pharmacy we formulate and produce all of our organic herbal medicines. We use only the highest quality, most environmentally sustainable ingredients that bring the most effective results to each individual. We offer products to the general public as well as formulate very individualized, specific medicines for our Ayurvedic patients. You have options when it comes to creating health & balance, our plant allies deliver healing on so many levels.
